Embark on an enthralling journey to discover Dhofar's hidden treasures. Commence at Ain Razat, located to the east of Dhofar. Here, natural springs flow year-round and during the Khareef (autumn) season, offering a serene retreat that remains a crucial water source for Salalah.
Next is Taqah, an ancient coastal town boasting an enchanting castle encircled by watchtowers and stone houses. Continue to Wadi Darbat Park, nestled within mountains that overlook Khor Rori. This natural park is adorned with waterfalls, camels, lakes, and lush greenery. Experience Khareef's enchantment as waterfalls cascade from 30 meters, and caves add an element of intrigue. A picturesque picnic area invites relaxation.
Explore Khor Rori Creek, home to the ruins of Sumhuram – the capital of the Arabian frankincense trade. Delve into the stories of the city at the Sumhuram Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
